Thirsty in Thirsk

Our latest pub crawl and overnight stop off was in the north Yorkshire market town of Thirsk. A cracking night and a very easy pub crawl with all the boozers in close proximity.

5. THE ROYAL (roughest pub in town)

6. RED BEAR (bagged a free pint due to hopeless ignorant barman)

7. THE GOLDEN FLEECE (quality ales to be had)

8. THE THREE TUNS(JDW) (revisited this excellent 'Spoons)

9. LITTLE 3(GBG listed - Best pub in Thirsk)

 After feeling quite fragile on Sunday morning we walked the course at Thirsk. I have been racing at the track twice before, but that was a long time ago, back in my previous life in 1986 and '87.
