The Old Fishing Shack has an extensive range of over 400 different bottled beers from all over the world. Athos, the pub landlord is very knowledgeable, not only in just recommending beers, but also the order in which you should drink them.

Selection wise, I can confidently say this is probably one of the best beer bars on the island and definitely the best barman in Paphos... Cyprus... and the Eastern Mediterranean!

According to Athos, I tried 26 different beers. 

My Top 5 were...

Septem 'Eighth Day' (7%)

Garage 'Soup IPA' (6%)

Fucking Hell (4.9%)

Urthel 'Hop It' (9.5%)

Houblon Chouffe (9%)

The best barman in Paphos... Cyprus... and the Eastern Mediterranean!

The Wooden Pub 1

Paphos,

 The Wooden Pub is another good bottle pub next to the harbour, with very friendly staff. This boozer mainly concentrates on the Cypriot real ales from Aphrodite's Rock, True Ale and Humor. Naturally I completed the set of all the Cypriot beers, my favourite being Humor Weiss (5%)

The lovely East Yorkshire market town of Beverley has 7 GBG pubs and a 'Spoons to tick off, but unfortunately it wasn't possible to complete this task. The GBG listed Cornerhouse is closed on a Monday and opens late on a Tuesday, so it remained shut on our visit.
